My eyes flicker across the dim room and rest on a lighted candle. Beneath the glowing fire, beads of melting wax slide down the smooth surface and drip onto the tarnished candlestick. Shadows surround the candle. The fluorescent flame doesn't waver until a gentle breeze slightly flutters it. It begins to prance, swaying left and right. It leaps higher. It hesitates before continuing its dance. The sweet, gentle breeze becomes a strong wind. The delicate flame fades and dies. Its life was short and fragile, yet, while living, it danced.

Once Upon a Time ...there lived a family, with numerous children...and grandchildren. Now this family thrived on love and happiness. Of course they had their ups and downs... problems with family and friends as everyone does. They were a religious family and ALWAYS turned to God for strength and guidance. God blessed them in many, many, many ways. One day, a daughter fell seriously ill. Her sisters and brothers came with love to pray for her healing... yet God had a different plan...and she died. Her family and their children all came together to celebrate her life... The family turned to God even more for his love and guidance because they didn't want to believe what had happened to their loved one. God lent his hand to them to help them through the rough, stormy water of healing...and... only by taking his hand... and trusting in the Lord to help have they become partially full again...
